The Goal
Nine Studios needed an agency website that would highlight their video production capabilities. The challenge was creating a site that felt as dynamic and visually compelling as their reel showcases.
What I Built
I designed and developed a visually rich site with motion-heavy sections to highlight their editing work. The site needed to serve multiple purposes: showcase their portfolio, explain their services, and convert visitors into clients.
Technical Implementation
Motion Design
The technical implementation used Next.js with TailwindCSS, focusing on smooth animations and transitions:
- Custom scroll effects reveal content progressively
- Narrative flow guides visitors through their work and capabilities
Reel Showcase
The reel showcase section was the centerpiece. I built a custom video gallery with:
- Hover previews
- Smooth transitions
- Responsive playback
The gallery adapts to different screen sizes while maintaining the cinematic feel that video production demands.
Service Sections
Service sections use animated icons and progressive disclosure to explain their offerings without overwhelming visitors. Each section flows naturally into the next, creating a cohesive brand story.
